VED is a music collective from Malmö, Sweden, influenced by post punk, free jazz, progressive rock and electronic music. Combining rhythmic monotony with melodies, free improvisation, sampled sounds and field recordings they are famed for creating trance inducing repetetive music. Since 2010 they have released 5 albums, 3 EP:s, some singles and cassettes, and toured extensively in Scandinavia, Germany, England and Spain. In 2014 VED toured, as the first Swedish band ever, the ex Soviet states of Central Asia.
